This is a post graduate full time 2 year Industry-Academia Joint-Taught Programme which aims to provide the student with specialized skill in polymer field. The course comprises of 3 semesters in depth class room study of all the aspects of polymer subjects and one semester internship in various polymer industries and polymer research institutes.

The course offers post graduate studies through the participating Polymer Industries leading to the degrees of Master of Science in Polymer Science. Taking into account the needs of the industry and the direction of the leading scientific achievements, the course has been designed to capitalize on research strengths. The courses focus on various specializations of polymer field and concludes with an independent research project related to these areas. The programme is designed in a way to enable the student to make use of the latest technology in order to perform their work effectively and efficiently.

Pedagogy

A combination of innovative teaching methods, renowned guest speakers, hands-on experience of new technology, interaction with subject experts provide the student with an ambience that help them flourish their talents in subject specific areas. It helps the student get a perspective and encourages logical thinking with flexibility of execution. The Internship / Project in fourth semester equips the students with significant practical experience.
